DESCRIPTION:
An outstanding dwarf variety with an abundance or large, single, long
lasting, pure white flowers that cover the compact, green foliage.
An excellent choice for container gardening or in borders. Resistant to
heat, drought and humidity. It is an herbaceous perennial that typically
grows to 3’ tall and provides long-lasting bloom and are valued additions
to the perennial border, cottage garden, wild garden, cutting garden
naturalized areas and meadows.
Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun.
Tolerates some light shade, particularly in hot summer climates.
Remove spent flower heads to promote additional bloom. Divide
clumps as needed (every 2-3 years) to maintain vigor. Consider cutting
stems back to basal leaves after flowering. For the best performance,
give your plants about an inch of water per week during summer dry
spells.
An important part of oxeye daisy control when avoiding aggressive
spreading is to pull up or cutting down the plant before it flowers and
produces seeds.
